Citrus Tour Safaris

Close to the places. Closer to the details.

Citrus Tour Safaris plans safaris across Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda from a base in Nairobi. Our work happens here, not from a distant sales office — and that changes the advice we can give.

01

Local by nature

A Nairobi-based team with knowledge shaped on the ground rather than from a brochure. We know which road is impassable after rain and which camp has changed hands.

02

Built around you

Routes, pacing and stays tailored to how you actually want to travel. Every route in this catalogue can be re-paced, re-tiered or rebuilt.

03

A human response

Clear, thoughtful planning with a real person throughout. We read every enquiry properly rather than returning an automated itinerary.

04

Value at every level

Honest options across budget, mid-range and luxury travel, and a frank view on which upgrades are worth the money.

How we work

What we will and will not tell you

A great deal of safari marketing is written to close a sale. This is how we have chosen to write ours instead.

Accommodation is suggested, not contracted

Every package names the properties our catalogue suggests for that route and standard. Until you hold dates, they are suggestions. Where a property is unavailable we substitute a comparable alternative and tell you before you confirm — and where our catalogue specifies a standard rather than a property, we say so on the page instead of inventing a name.

Prices are quoted, not published

Every safari here reads Price on request, and that is deliberate. Park fees, permits, group size, rooming and contracted accommodation rates all move the number. Publishing a headline rate that would not survive contact with your actual dates would be a way of winning a click, not of being useful.

Wildlife is not a schedule

We will put you in the right region in the right month and give you enough days for patience to pay off. We will not promise a Mara River crossing, a leopard, or a clear view of Kilimanjaro, because nobody can. Where a sighting is likely we say likely; where it is luck we say luck.

The catalogue

60 routes, each written out in full

Our catalogue is capped deliberately. Every route has a written day-by-day itinerary, named suggested accommodation, a stated inclusion and exclusion list, and planning questions answered on the page.
